I’m helping a customer from Hallett Cove today whose laptop is running very slow and is exhibiting some very strange behaviour when starting up and shutting down. I was able to diagnose the problem as a dying hard drive and thankfully I was able to clone all of their data across to a high speed SSD before their existing hard drive completely died which saved a whole lot of trouble for both of them and me as far as repairs and data loss.
