Today I’m helping a mechanic in Lonsdale with his front counter PC being incredibly slow whenever he needs to do any work. I fitted it with a high-speed SSD and cloned all of his data across in a perfect mirror copy which means he can get straight back to work and nothing has changed, apart from the fact that everything is now 10 times faster!

A kid who plays a lot of fortnite was struggling getting smooth performance in the game on his PC full stop after diagnosing his PC, I was able to quickly see that his CPU was at fault. The person who built his computer fitted it with a very bottom of the barrel Intel celeron chip which is the absolute worst CPU you could have for gaming. I built a new system for him based on the Intel i5 9400f CPU and transferred all of his data and his graphics card to the new tower and got him all up and running. He was super happy with the new PC and with the amazing performance increase it was over his old desktop.

Today I’m down in Glenelg helping a beauty salon with their Intel small form factor PC that’s making a whole lot of fan noise. After disassembling the unit and having a good look at the internals, I was able to diagnose it as a faulty cooling fan. Once the new cooling fan was installed the system temperatures went down by at least 20 degrees and it’s operating noise has dropped substantially.
