Bill Gates thinks a global threat level disease is coming and could kill 30 million people within 6 months

Bill Gates has given a warning that the possibility of a very serious new flu strain could be engineered and weaponised by certain groups and could easily spread around the world creating a global pandemic. Very scary if its true and hopefully early warnings can help avoid mass contagion and aid in the development of medicine and immunisation.

Marked for Termination – Terminator-Inspired NPC Mod for Fallout 4

Two things I absolutely love are Fallout 4 and modding the beans out of it. Fallout 4 on its own – while being very popular – does feel a little lacking in areas especially when comparing it to Bethesdas previous entries in the series. Thankfully there are literally thousands of absolutely awesome mods for the wasteland survival sandbox game to flesh it out and spice up just about every part of it. This Terminator mod is another prime example. Check it out on the nexus if rad roaches, nuka cola and Arnie are your thing 🙂

Lonsdale Onsite Computer Repairs and Support : Networking fix after Windows update patch 1709

One of my long time customers in Lonsdalecontacted me saying that none of their PC’scould connect to the common network share after the latest Windows 10 update came through. I suspected that the security settings has been changed somehow after the update was applied so I took a look at the obvious things first. The PC was definitely connected to the modem and all other PC’s could ping the server by computer name so physical networking wasn’t the problem. Next I investigated the share permissions which all looked OK then I noticed that the homegroup setting on the server was set to Public. I set this to Private and also checked all of the other client PC’s and also disabled password security for shares on the server as there was no need for that level of security in their workplace. After all of these settings were adjusted correctly they were good to go and back up and running.

Cheat while playing Player Unknowns BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG) and get arrested IRL

It sounds sorta crazy that cheating in an online game could earn you some time behind bars in real life but when you think about the billions of dollars PUBG makes it’s only inevitable for the devs to protect their product. And protect it they will… as evidenced by 15 Chinese people being arrested after being caught cheating online in the game on regular occasions. Play fair or pay the price.
