A business customer in Seaford contacted me saying Telstra had delivered 4 new IP phones to their office to be setup through the modem to use the NBN and as replacements for their normal copper line handsets. They had no idea how to set it all up but that’s where I come in! After the correct SIP settings were put in the new IP phones and the new handsets were all synced up they were good to go on their new internet phone system.

Another of my long time business customers contacted me saying a pc in their office at lonsdale had stopped indexing emails in Outlook and they weren’t able to search for anything anymore. Outlook can be a bit of an odd little beast even at the best of times so I undertook an office 365 repair install as well as a database rebuild on the windows search settings. After a few days of recompiling the search data outlook was back in action searching like it should.

An elderly gentleman from Sheidow Park contacted me saying his laptop was coming up with some strange popups and boxes on screen when browsing the internet. I took a look at his laptop and ran a scan with an anti malware tool as well as clearing out all of his temporary files and resetting his browser extensions to default. After locating the offending software and removing it he was back online without all the hassle he had before 🙂

A lady who runs a solar panel cleaning business from Aldinga contacted me asking for help setting up her new wireless printer on all of her devices + getting her email accounts to sync across her iPad, iPhone and laptop. Of course I was happy to help and had her all sorted and now printing and managing her business bookings using IMAP email on any of her devices.

A customer of mine that’s on the main street of McLaren Vale mentioned to me that their main pc that acts as a file server has been very slow to start up and do anything on throughout the day. I tested the pc and was able to tell immediately that the main hard disk was dying. I quoted and supplied them with a SSHD which is a hybrid of a high speed SSD + a mechanical drive giving them speed + plenty of storage. After a 1 for 1 clone of their data they were good to go and back in business faster than ever!
