A long time customer of mine (12 years +) in Christies Beach called today saying they had a few issues with their laptop running slow and were having trouble when trying to copy photos from off of their Samsung phone to the laptop. I updated the USB drivers for the phone to the latest version and setup their phone to the correct USB media device mode and helped them write an instruction sheet for copying photos in the future. They were also having some issues with the free version of Avast Antivirus coming up with a LOT of onscreen ads and prompts for extra programs that Avast sell so I set Avast to “silent mode” and all of those annoying popups went away. Lastly I setup a desktop icon from the website ninite.com to update their programs easily anytime they want. Gotta love automation! I just had to stop by Christies Beach on the way home to check out the awesome surf the wind was whipping up. Such a great beach to run and skateboard along the beachfront. Have a great night guys 🙂
