Today I’m helping a business in Seaford get their CCTV at security system online with remote access so that staff can check on any incidents or issues that pop up out of hours. Once the port forwarding and DMZ was set up properly I made some basic instructions for them and they were good to go with secure remote access to their security system anywhere on the planet.

I’m setting up a new laptop for the staff and students to use in a library at a school at Aberfoyle Park. The laptop uses of custom designed database that keeps track of all of the books and borrowing that the students do throughout the year. The database already existed on another computer and needed to be transferred across to the new laptop and merged with new data.

Today I’m helping staff and students at a school in Aberfoyle Park by setting up a new printer in their library and getting it connected on all of their computers and laptops across the school. There’s always plenty of things to do here including security system management, helping students with video production and all the day today things that happened with students and staff using computers and laptops.

I got to enjoy a nice drive down to Encounter Bay today to set up a new computer for a lady who works for the council. I told her one of our new ecosystem PCs with a 27 inch LED screen, Windows 10 home, a ryzen 2200 g CPU, 8 gigabytes of RAM, and a 480 GB SSD. After transferring all of her data and setting her email up on the new PC she was good to go faster than ever.

Today I’m helping a customer that’s located in Willunga with some remote computer support via the Internet. It’s a really handy way to help my customers without having to be on site for small problems other things outside of hours that wouldn’t be convenient otherwise. As an added bonus I also waive the call out fee so it works out cheaper for the customer too. It’s a win for everyone!
