I watched the first episode of the ‘new’ series Lost in Space on Netflix today and came away pleasantly impressed. I never watched the original 1960’s version so it’s all new to me apart from knowing it was about a family called the Robinsons being stranded in space and that there was a robot that played a big part in it. The production quality of the new 2018 reboot is really top notch with awesome special effects that never looked out of place, the acting seems great so far and overall it works really well as an engaging adventure / survival story of a family and all their trappings as they struggle to exist on a hostile and alien planet. The audio was really good too and sounds especially impressive on a good 5.1 surround system or better. I’m really looking forward to the rest of the series…
