Students have reported that primary laptop 7 is running very slow. Examined laptop and it seems it hasn't been rebooted in a while and students are switching users instead of rebooting and logging in. Students advised to reboot laptop after use to ensure best performance.
Primary laptop C no audio when plugging in headphones. Realtek Audio seems to have defaulted backto output of only internal laptop speakers. Logged in as Admin and set heaphones as default ouput and tested reverting to speakers when heaphones removed. Tested OK.
Touchscreen on Primary laptop 4 not working. Device driver OK and device showing in device manager. Suggested student to reboot and seems OK now after logging back in. Suspect Windows 10 bug as cause.
Clothing store modem rebooted as log files in modem show a high level of network collisions. Unsure if the NIC in the PC, network switch or the modem itself is at fault. Problem seems to be able to be avoided providing modem is rebooted once per week. Suggest replacing NIC in PC if problem causes further issues and downtime.
Library laptop issues with antivirus not updating. Password set on laptop so only the librarian can use this laptop. Avast antivuris repair install - all working OK now. Suspect that firewall component of antivirus became corrupted or conflict with Windows firewall.
Teachers personal laptop not booting up or powering on. Tested and confirmed that motherboard has failed / no response when powering on at all. Hard disk removed from laptop so laptop can now be disposed of.
Student spare laptop A (ADL-AS-01892) tested and diagnosed with dead motherboard. Power supply unit plug broken off inside laptop. As this laptop has been repaired before and has various other issues it has been decided that this unit not be repaired / not feasible and kept simply for parts etc.
Slow lenovo laptop reported by student Romy on campus. Examined laptop and it is a Lenovo thinkpad with a Celeron processor that is often running at around 50% load even when idle. From further analysis it seems to be a combination of Streamline filtering, Windows updates and the low performance CPU. Suggested to student to try to only one to two programs at a time rather than have over 10 apps open at once. Student is currently using a spare laptop and this Lenovo laptop has become a spare for emergency use.
Wall mounted speakers not working in primary classroom. Tested cabling that goes through the wall to the speakers and no output. Will bring in a dual RCA to 3.5mm audio extension cable to plug into desktop speakers to make sure. Once cabling in the wall is ruled out as OK will proceed and replace wall mounted speakers.
Cisco Meraki MX84-HW installed into server cabinet rack. Two side rails removed from server closet so Meraki can fit into rail system. Unit currently not powered on or cabled as yet. Will source power adapter so Meraki can be plugged directly into UPS and powered on.

Front desk reception PC reconnected to network and setup for receptionist. Tested login as OK.
Student laptop not connecting to websites. Connection to wireless OK, ping to google DNS OK but no website browsing / DNS errors. Suspect Eset antivirus firewall issues or Streamline corruption. Student will refresh streamline and request Eset password to turn off firewall and test.
Room 6 data projector moving plans with electrician. Projector mount to be moved to adjacent room / HDMI cable with socket to be installed on adjacent wall.
Corrupt USB from student / running file repair and restore. Suspect dead memory controller in USB stick. Files recovered but USB drive needs to thrown out as it is corrupting any data copied to it.
Teacher new laptop not connecting to classroom projector. Laptop only has HDMI video output and projector only supports VGA or component video. Will try to source a HDMI to VGA adapter to test again.
Primary student spare ASUS laptop not charging when AC power is plugged in. Suspect damaged power input jack or faulty charger. Tested with a spare charger and now charging OK.
ASUS X200L laptop with broken screen hinges. Will attempt to repair screw housings from plastic chassis with super glue. If screen not holding together will source pricing for replacement screen.
Student not able to access HTTP websites on school laptop. Suspect Streamline possibly blocking sites. Submitted to help desk.
VNC remote control access setup for Reception to library laptop to allow remote administration of bookmarks library book management. Tested and working OK. VNC set as only local network access and not going over the internet.
Teacher shortcut created to pupil area to allow documents and photos to be saved directly to pupils folder rather than copying to USB.
New audio cabling installed for Teachers classroom wall speakers. Tested audio output from laptop - all working OK now.
Teachers laptop video output to projector not working - new HDMI to VGA adapter ordered and will test when it arrives.
Spare student laptop not connecting to shared resources on network and not printing. Laptop connected to ethernet and rebooted. Logged in as administrator and all seems OK now. Suspect issue was not fully connecting to server over wireless.
Old teacher laptop running very slow (no ID on laptop) and has a lot of issues connecting to projector. This laptop has been looked at many times in the past and I suspect that it's a faulty video driver or bad / failure hardware. Laptop is Windows8 vintage so I suggest it be replaced for next teacher or setup as a student spare.
Clothing Store printing issues from PC. Modem rebooted but no difference - still not printing. Checked settings in printer and ethernet connection was set to 10baseT instead of 100mbit full duplex. Tested on new settings and now printing much faster and every time.
Second LCD screen in upstairs room 2 not working in Zoom meetings. Connections checked and Zoom PC rebooted - all appears to be OK now. Will monitor and check again if problem re-occurs.
