Today I’m helping staff and students at a school in Aberfoyle Park. They were having some issues with an interactive whiteboard that is connected to a teacher’s laptop. The interactive whiteboard is no longer displaying anything from a laptop and I suspect the internal cabling going from the laptop to the projector to be at fault. I’ll need to go up in the roof and examine the HDMI cable and the booster to make sure it’s all working OK, but for now I was able to get them running in a makeshift way using a long VGA cable and splitting the audio to some amplified speakers. They were very happy that they can still use it in the meantime while I organise the repairs.
