One of my long time customers from Happy Valley contacted me saying his PC was no longer booting up and was going straight to the BIOS screen when powered on. I took a look at his pc and was able to confirm that his hard disk was ok which meant all of his data was safe. I gave him the option to install a SSD to replace the slow hard disk and he was more than happy to go ahead with the upgrade. In the end he got a supercharged pc at a fraction of the cost of a new computer!

No job is too small! A customer contacted me saying his keyboard had stopped working in Windows 10. I took a look and after checking all the obvious things like batteries and a different USB socket I was able to quickly fix his problem with the always handy system restore. Another happy customer back in the game 🙂

A customer from Aberfoyle Park contacted me saying that their 6 month old Acer Nitro Black edition performance laptop had recently developed an issue where it would simply shutdown when the power was removed even though it had well over 80% battery charge. I tested the laptop and checked all of the obvious things but in the end found a forum post of a user with very similar symptoms saying that a bios update fixed the problem. I checked this laptop and it had the original factory bios so I downloaded and flashed the bios to the latest version and it hasn’t crashed on battery power since!
