A customer in Seaford contacted me asking for help setting up their new CCTV security system so it could be accessed remotely via the internet. Once I had a look at their system and worked out what security protocols it was using I was able to open the ports required on their modem + tweak the firewall and DMZ to allow the CCTV DVR to have access to their network through the internet. Now they can check up on their business anywhere in the world as long as they have an internet connection.
