A customer from contacted me with a problem on his computer accessing his email. In a nutshell, his was no longer sending or receiving despite him being sure he had the correct password entered. I checked his settings and was able to work out that his was performing SSL scanning on his account however his email wasn’t setup for this in Thunderbird. Once I collected the correct settings from his internet service provider and input them into Thunderbird he was in action and his emails were flowing in and out again as per normal.
