A business in Seaford called me up saying they needed some help setting up remote and local viewing access to their CCTV security camera system. I’ve helped several businesses in the past with this type of setup and was more than happy to oblige. Once I had a look at their setup and changed a few settings such as port forwarding and DMZ in their modem they now had access to the CCTV DVR on their local network. I then setup a dynamic DNS for them so that they can access their cameras remotely and not have to worry about the hassle of what IP address their modem or DVR is if it ever changed. Once I gave them a little guided tour of how to access all of their security system features they were very happy and could rest easy knowing that nothing would slip by unnoticed.
