A crash repairer from Christies Beach contacted me saying they were no longer able to access the internet after a Windows 10 update came through. I had a look at their PC and noticed they had a fairly high end firewall application on there and I immediately suspected that the update had most likely upset a component that the firewall was relying on to function. I had a check through the Windows update logs and was able to find a KB article that mentioned exactly what I suspected and offered some advice on how to resolve it. I located the patch that was required for their firewall application and once it was correctly merged and the right settings were applied they were back in action and good to go.
