I was out at a school in Aberfoyle Park today helping setup more of their conference rooms to be used as online classrooms using an application called Zoom. Basically, it’s a setup of two large 65″ wall mounted TV’s with a high end echo-cancelling Logitech conferencing webcam connected to a small Intel NUC running Windows 10. As with anything like this there are always a few teething issues such as audio feedback while in a remote session but once we nailed down the source of the problem they were up and running and conducting lessons all across Australia and making full use of the high speed NBN.
