A business customer of mine in Seaford needed some help configuring their new security system to allow for remote on and off triggering via their iphoneand through a web browser. It had initially been setup and was working fine but lately they haven’t been able to remotely arm or disarm the security system using their phones. I started by opening the security panel and checking all connections and then proceeded to test the modem settings including the DMZ and port forwarding through the firewall. After a few tweaks and updates they were back in business and fully operational again.
