Another of my customers contacted me saying their had just gone down and as their business can’t run without the internet it put them in some real hot water. I was able to see them that afternoon and brought along a new 2+ to begin the and fault diagnosis. After checking their  existing modem I could see that it wasn’t getting any DSL line at all so I proceeded to set them up on the new modem. I also checked and tested their cabling and found a few faults with the line filter / splitter and the phone lead so I replaced these also. After their PPP authentication details and the correct IP address was setup in the new modem they were back in business. Another happy customer that can get back to doing what they do best 🙂
