I just started watching the new series SALVATION that just landed on Netflix. So far it’s really good. It’s got a clever story that involves a young scientist / student that discovers a meteor is projected to collide with earth in 186 days and what they plan to do to save humanity. It’s got an underlying theme of government espionage that surrounds a cover-up of their failed attempts and their efforts to avert mass panic. The acting is good, the story is engaging and it has a modern yet comfortably familiar feel to its progression and delivery. So far I’m really liking it and unless it takes a huge nose dive halfway through I’m pretty sure I’ll be giving it top marks at the end of the season. Time will tell…
