Obviously take this with a grain (or the whole shaker) of salt but the word on the street is that the PlayStation 5 is very much a thing and is currently in development. Dev kits (prototype units) are rumoured to have been sent out to game developers to begin game development for Sony’s new beast. Don’t hold your breath for seeing it this year but it’s quite likely 2019 might be the year of the PS5. Obviously Microsoft will also follow suit and release the Xbox…. two?
