A lady from Corromandel East was having some issues with her Samsung smart TV after a power outage last week. She used to be able to use all of the internet related functions of the TV without any issues previously but now wasn’t having any luck at all. I tested the first which was confirmed to be working properly so next I tested her smart TV. The TV failed the initial scan for networks as well as a manual setup so I suspected the wireless module of the TV had died. I then tested her TV using a long ethernet cable and was able to get a good connection to the internet so I suggested to her that a powerline network cable solution would be ideal to get her back online. Tomorrow I’ll be returning to setup the powerline adapter system and get her back in action. To be continued…
