Today’s mission was a wireless printer
in a customers house Warradale
that just wouldn’t play the game and connect to his laptop
after a firmware update on the printer. The printer had worked fine for several months but after this firmware update things went wrong. I’ve seen this sort of thing before several times and it’s often related to the printer not correctly connecting to the wireless router due to the wireless security settings. I logged into the modem and adjusted a few things to make the connection more compatible with the printer and everything suddenly started working again.
