I had another odd problem a customer in was experiencing where their email was sending and receiving OK but they couldn’t browse the internet using any browsers at all (Edge, Firefox, Chrome etc). Their could ping Google OK and their laptop connected over browsed the net just fine but their wasn’t having any of it.

Long story short – after about half an hour of testing I nailed it down to their antivirus software. Somehow the software had gone a bit haywire (most likely as a result of the latest big 10 update) and was blocking all outgoing HTTP and HTTPS traffic. A simple of their antivirus software and they were back in business!
